Solo puede haber uno por país miembro. Es el representante nacional de la I.A.M.T.F.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Khan 14 = Master of Muaythai (ARJAN MUAYTHAI PUSONG KRUNNAWUT)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Implica un profundo conocimiento del Muaythai como arte, filosofía y deporte, así como haber trabajado para la expansión del Muaythai de Tailandia. Es un título muy reconocido. Los Arjan son personas muy respetadas en la sociedad tailandesa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Khan 15 = Grand Master (ARJAN YAI PARAMA JARCHAN SUNGSUD)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Son aquellos que forman el comité de Muaythai en el Ministerio de Cultura de Tailandia. type='text'>TÉCNICAS DEL MUAY THAI</title><content type='html'>El Muay thai esta lleno de técnicas diversas. La adaptación contemporánea como deporte lo asemeja en principio al &lt;a title="Boxeo" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxeo"&gt;boxeo&lt;/a&gt;, pero después de verlo y analizarlo, es un deporte de una complejidad diversa y una disciplina rigurosa, cabe destacar que actualmente se considera como el deporte más efectivo versus otras disciplinas de contacto siempre y cuando se marquen reglas de pie, o en su defecto se realice una pelea de esta forma; Esto quiere decir sin sumisiones o pelea de suelo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;En esta disciplina se pueden usar todas las extremidades del cuerpo como la mano, el codo, el brazo, el pie, la pierna y agarrar al contrincante, para realizar una proyección y así sumar puntos, o intentar la cúspide de este deporte, esto se conoce como "plum" y es la forma de agarrar al contrincante de la nuca y intentar golpearlo con la rodilla en la cara o el cuerpo incluyendo las piernas, mundialmente esto se conoce como "clinch" (área muy cercana).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;En Kikck Boxing los golpes de patadas de la cadera para abajo se llama "low kick", de la cadera hasta el pecho "middle kick" o también se le suele llamar "lucky", y de el pecho para arriba "high kick". Los golpes con los puños son: "Directo y Jab" siendo el Jab el brazo adelantado en nuestra guardia, y el Directo el brazo atrasado.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Las técnicas utilizadas son: Técnicas de Agarre y Técnicas de proyección, con opción a tirar al adversario al suelo, esto se debe de hacer mediante golpes a los puntos de apoyo o derribes a cuerpo completo sin llegar al "tacle" (zancadillas). Cabe mencionar que esta totalmente prohibido pegar al adversario cuando este se encuentre en caído o al menos con una rodilla hincada en el suelo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La indumentaria del Muay thai en la actualidad consiste en pantalones cortos y vendaje en manos, tobillera, pra yap, mongkok para peleadores y espinillas, protector bucal, guantes, suspensorio, como protección (estas últimas son para peleas amateur).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;El uso de guantes fue introducido en el año de 1929 por un boxeador filipino y se volvió obligatorio, así como el protector bucal y la división por pesos a partir de 1945. Cuando los contrincantes ingresan al ring, tradicionalmente se les ve utilizando un Mongkok sobre su cabeza y un Pong Malai alrededor del cuello.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;El Mongkon es una banda especial entretejida cuidadosamente que representa al gimnasio del cual provienen. Pong Malai son collares con ornamentos florales, entregados por amigos y seguidores como un gesto de apoyo y buena suerte, similares al Lei hawaiano. El mismo propósito tienen los Papriachat o pra yap (amuletos de buena suerte), que son lazos utilizados alrededor del bíceps, regalados por familiares cercanos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Para su pelea el thai boxer comienza entonces un complejo ritual a manera de danza llamado Wai khru ram muay donde se imita diversos animales o profesiones, el Wai khru y Ram muay tiene como objetivo el poner en movimiento la mayor cantidad de músculos posible y ayudar a enfocar la mente.&lt;br /&gt;Es posible que en la actualidad el muay thai sea considerado como un deporte extremo por lo que es practicado en los países de alto grado de dinero para la realización de apuestas, que en su debido tiempo fueron ilegales por lo cual es un deporte que se considera ilegal en algunos países, no por su alto grado de peligro si no por que en la mayoría de los lugares donde se practica se realizan apuestas y en su mayoría de estos lugares son ilegales sobre todo en USA (Estados Unidos de América) por lo cual este a perdido un alto grado de importancia sobre todo por sus costumbres que en su mayoría solo lo practican como un deporte extremo para la realización de dinero fácil.&lt;br /&gt;Por otro lado, el muay thai es un deporte sobre todo espiritual, el cual se reserva a un alto grado de concentración de para el peleador ya que en su verdadera manera de llevar este debe ser reservado a la práctica necesaria como un deporte de máxima seguridad en el cual el que se encuentra en el ring debe empezar el combate con un ritual. Este ritual consta de varios pasos o en su mayoría de varios rituales, los cuales sirven para ahuyentar a los supuestos malos espíritus para que el combatiente tenga una buena actuación y sobre todo, mantenga una conexión con los supuestos maestros. La capital antigua de este reino se encontraba situada en &lt;a class="new" title="Sukhotai (aún no redactado)" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sukhotai&amp;amp;action=edit&amp;amp;redlink=1"&gt;Sukhotai&lt;/a&gt; hacia el año (&lt;a title="1238" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/1238"&gt;1238&lt;/a&gt;-&lt;a title="1408" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/1408"&gt;1408&lt;/a&gt;). Al hallarse permanentemente en guerra contra reinos vecinos como los de &lt;a title="Birmania" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birmania"&gt;Birmania&lt;/a&gt; y &lt;a title="Camboya" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camboya"&gt;Camboya&lt;/a&gt;, la ciudad se vio obligada a desarrollar las habilidades de sus soldados en el manejo de lanzas, espadas, y en utilizar el cuerpo como un arma en situaciones de combate a distancia corta. Técnicas como las patadas, golpes con el puño, rodillas, espinillas, codos y ciertas maneras de derribar al adversario, fueron desarrolladas en ese entonces. Durante este periodo el Muay Thai era considerado como un arte esencial, y parte del currículum real para poder aspirar al trono.&lt;br /&gt;Durante los siglos siguientes, el arte continuó evolucionando. No fue hasta el reinado del rey Narai (&lt;a title="1604" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/1604"&gt;1604&lt;/a&gt;-&lt;a title="1690" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/1690"&gt;1690&lt;/a&gt;), caracterizado por ser una época de paz, cuando se convirtió en deporte profesional. Las peleas se efectuaban en un espacio delimitado, consistente en una cuerda sobre el piso formando un cuadro para indicar el área de combate. Las reglas eran simples: pelear hasta que uno quedara de pie, o que uno de los dos se rindiera. No había limitaciones en cuanto a peso, estatura o edad, las aldeas competían unas contra otras y se efectuaban apuestas.&lt;br /&gt;En &lt;a title="1774" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/1774"&gt;1774&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a class="new" title="Angwa (aún no redactado)" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Angwa&amp;amp;action=edit&amp;amp;redlink=1"&gt;Angwa&lt;/a&gt;, el rey de los burmeses, quiso realizar una celebración para la gran pagoda de Ragoon. Esta celebración incluyó el boxeo y se llevaron boxeadores thai para enfrentar a los boxeadores del reino. En el día 17 de Marzo de aquel año, &lt;a class="new" title="Nhai Khanomtom (aún no redactado)" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nhai_Khanomtom&amp;amp;action=edit&amp;amp;redlink=1"&gt;Nhai Khanomtom&lt;/a&gt;, un prisionero de guerra capturado por el ejército enemigo combatió y derrotó a 10 boxeadores del rey Angwa sucesivamente sin ningún periodo de descanso entre las peleas. Era la primera vez que el Muay Thai se utilizaba en una competición fuera de Tailandia. Por este logro, Nai Khanomtom fue honrado con el título de ¨Padre del Muay Thai¨ o ¨Creador del Muay Thai¨ y el día 17 de Marzo es conocido hasta hoy como ¨Día del Muay Thai¨.&lt;br /&gt;Muay Boran fue dividido en Muay ThaSao (norte), Muay Korat tailandés (Esarn o al noreste), Muay Lobburee tailandés (región de centro), y Muay Chaiya tailandés (el sur).
